This is a real beauty and fairly old. I'm quite sure it is from bananas, because over the years I never saw Isela labels on anything but bananas, and almost always in the Miami, Florida area. I started finding the more modern Isela labels in the 1980's, usually on plantains and apple bananas, with the boxes clearly marked Venezuela. Note also the "plant" on the label - a banana plant (which of course is not a tree). I love labels with maps on them, so this is a real gem. I'll bet it is from the 1970's or even earlier.
This label was part of a package of banana labels. But because I never saw it anywhere else and because it is totally different from the other ISELA labels, I'm not sure whether its really a banana label.
Please give additional opinions.
